The Emroidery Corner

 Here are some finished embroidery works. I hand embroider for fun, it is one of my favorite ways of rest and relaxation. I create my own designs and plan color schemes by using watercolors first. I also have my own embroidery style, which is more like a tapestry work when colors are separated and placed in layers, starting with the darkest ones first.

No, I did not make the frame, rather found
 it in an antique mall, gave it a new life 

Birds are my favorite subject matter.
I love the detail and texture you can incorporate.
